Instruction Writing

I was learning to write instructions. I can write my instructions in the right order. I can use a variety of verbs in my instructions. I like my monster soup recipe  because I like monsters.

Feelings Art

This term we have been learning all about emotions. We watched the movie Inside Out. We did some artwork about feelings and the characters from the movie. I love my artwork because I love drawing and it was fun drawing each character.

Sea Week Art

 I was learning to  blend colours using paint. My favourits part of doing this art work was drawing the jellyfish. I love this artwork because of the beautiful colourful jelly fish.

Swimming

My favaurite part of our Swimming lesson is relays. I find tricky to stay in the pool for a long time because it is cold. I love swimming because swimming is my favourite.

Looking after our Koha Garden

LI - We are learning to look after our environment by adopting a koha garden

We have been very lucky to have Mrs Robertson, the gardening guru, with us this year. We have been learning how to weed and water the garden. We also learnt how to grow vegetables from our koha garden. We grew many kinds of vegetables - kale, spinach, strawberries, tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage and more! We made kale chips and spinach dips and tried some of our vegetables fresh!
